..But the talk show hosts are not.

US talk show hosts, Jay Leno and David Letterman are getting back at the stikers by returning to the TV screens - without the help of show writers.
Although David Letterman's writers reached a deal and his show will have Robin Williams on Wednesday, the unfortunate Leno is on his own, although his first guest for the year will be Republican candidate Mike Huckaby.

Talk show host Conan O'Brian will be returning to the screens without his writing team, as will John Stewarts The Daily Show - also without the writing team.

FINALLY!!!!

I knew they would do this, only the real comedians would have the balls to write an entire show.

This strike needs to end as soon as damn possible though, you have no idea how much our economy is about to suffer because of these selfish writers.

Well now we'll see just how much these writers are worth.

Why are they striking anyway?

Money!

I think they want extra royalties for when things are released on DVD.

Yeah they want more money.. they already get paid a bullshit amount, and they need to quit whining and get back to work. They can get Christmas bonuses IF their bosses care for them.

It's been going on way too long. Either come back or get replaced

Any extra money they get will be passed on to you and me, the consumer. I think they get paid enough. :)

The strike, I heard, is about writers not being paid for content posted on the internet which they contributed to writing.

SHUT THE HELL UP.
