    Default German Teen sent to Siberia

    A German teenager who is known to have violent streaks has been sent to the frozen wastes of Siberia for a couple of months for punishment.

    Thing is, he's all on his own and has to fend for himself? What if this punishment goes wrong? What if he freezes to death? Whose fault will that be?

    I have heard of similar programs here in the US. Though its usually parents that enroll them, not the law. But it can be used as an alternative to community service or incaceration. They send all these kids with too much teenage angst to teh desert in Nevada or some such places to hike, and dig and live rough. Supposedly it has a great success rate.
