Forget the New Year Honours bullshit, The Beard Liberation Front have announced their list of the best beards of the year.

Plant took first position, with football manager Rafael Benitez in second place followed by super-rich beardie Richard Branston Pickle. Fourth place was last year's winner cricket player Monty Panesar sporting the fundamentalist look.

But with no sign of Noel "Tidy-Beard" Edmonds in the running one can only conclude this award is bollocks!

That is funny... and true!

I was a little shocked to see the clip of Plant in the recent Led Zep concert.

I thought he looked like Sammy Hagar's grandfather. (Sammy's 60ish)

I though Led Zep sounded pretty good, from what I heard.
