There's a couple of possibilities that spring to mind - it could be really innocent.

There's loads of people who end up with their big toe stuck up the bath tap. It never 'slips', they're just curious to see if it fits. It could just be something as simple as that.

I wonder if he tried the 'butter trick' to ease it off before calling the fire brigade.

Maybe he was just trying to see if 'it' would fit up a pipe. Maybe he slipped and fell onto... nope I can't even picture how this one was an accident!!

That American forum I linked to has one where the man was stuck in a jacuzzi jet... I can imagine that one was curiousity, like the toe in the tap.

Anorak was saying he should have looked at a picture of Anthea Turner and the 'swelling' would have went down.

I noticed the post about the one with the shampoo bottle. If that was me, I'd have cut it off myself with it only being thin plastic. I wouldn't have shown myself up by inviting a load of firemen.

No way on earth... you'd do whatever it takes to sort it yourself. I'd have different issues (*cough* more similiar to the coat hanger ) but I can imagine if my OH came to me and said "t-v, I was experimenting and now it's stuck" I would get it off before any fire crew trooped in!! It would be like a real life 'Something about mary' scene "we've got a bleeder", if you had to call them!!

If that happened to my husband, I'd have to leave the house if the fire brigade was called. I wouldn't want to be associated with the embarrassment. Getting your toe stuck up the tap and using the excuse you were curious is bad enough.

Why be so boring?
It would be much more dramatic if you'd stand next to him and point and scream!

(Or laugh... it's up to you )
