I saw this yesterday and planned to mention it on here but you beat me to it! How can you leave your toddler asleep under a bush and think that's safe for god's sake? What about animals or predatory humans for that matter? I agree, silly beggar!

I suppose if you live under a bush you don't have much choice. She should have tied a piece of rope around the kid's neck like a leash.
