Authority unrestricted will find a way to consolidate itself - and they are managing to prove that mistrust is not misplaced incidentall

That's some pretty scary stuff that seems to reinforce the thought that we can't trust the government. The government seems to be less and less for the people and more and more untrustworthy all the time.

Yes , everyone except for the biological parents, seem to know better how to raise the little kiddies. I think the word is indoctrination. The question is to what though? Seems pretty plain to me. It is a crying shame that parents these days turn out kids to fat, or to dumb and have to depend on some agency to make it alright. It really is all for the best you know

Do you think we should see a return of the infomercials? Y'know the adverts they showed in commercial breaks in the 70's on TV to inform people of pretty regular health and also safety type stuff.

They state the obvious but perhaps some people need it. Some up to date ones could be warning of how fat you'll get if you eat loads of crap and don't exercise, make sure you've got smoke alarms fitted and that they work, and perhaps a return of the green cross code. I bet between us we can think of loads.

Ironically, this makes me distrust the government more than I usually do. Yes, they had marijuana, but everyone and his bloody wife smokes weed nowadays and legislation is only a few years away once they see the tax upsides.

On page six of the report, police accuse the Coopers of being “aggressive to authority” because they will not allow government employees to enter their house without a court order
This part however REALLY pisses me off. Americans have a right to unreasonable search and seizure. If a cop shows up at my door and wants to come in, I have the right to say "No, you cannot.". If he has a court order, then I'll let him in. If you're going to charge someone with invoking their constitutional rights, you need to be removed from the law.
