Windscreen Vipers
A woman spotted a snake wriggling across her windscreen as she drove along in her car, then things go from bad to worse. Instead of just stopping Carol Dixon-Yeung says she slammed her foot down and starting swerving about trying to shake the snake off.
Then she stops at Asda to get help, not the first place I would have thought of but it turns out she got lucky. A trolley pusher at Asda managed to get hold of the snake and cleverly identifies it as a North American corn snake, and then goes and lets it loose in fields at the back of the supermarket.![]()
Dixon-Yeung is convinced it can't possibly be an escaped pet, but it was put there by a malicious ex-boyfriend.![]()

What a bunch of fucking tossers.

Re: Windscreen Vipers
Should they not have let it loose then?

Re: Windscreen Vipers
No, it will probably die in the UK climate when it gets cooler. And besides anything else I think it might well be illegal.

Re: Windscreen Vipers
OK. I wonder where it came from then?

Re: Windscreen Vipers
It'll be an escaped pet, the story about a bitter ex-boyfriend is ridiculous.

Re: Windscreen Vipers
True.
So, could they have kept the snake until it was claimed, or should they have taken it somewhere? TBH I wouldn't have a clue what to do.

Re: Windscreen Vipers
There are animal welfare officers in every council ... contain the snake and call them?

Re: Windscreen Vipers
Put it in a box, like?
