Re: Indian Barbecue
In some societies it was considered a mark of honour to eat a departed. I reckon the primary reason for it having become unacceptable is the rise of organised religion and the concept of physical resurrection - a bit awkward to do if your arm has been digested by Mr Jones down the road and Mrs Smith has enjoyed the casserole made from your rump.
Re: Indian Barbecue
Well most religions don't people putting the cocks of live people in their mouths, so it's logical they wouldn't like people putting dead flesh in their mouths either.
Writing crap on the internet for way too long.

Re: Indian Barbecue
There are some tribes who eat the recently deceased as an age old religious custom, and I don't see anything wrong with that, unless the person didn't want to be eaten after passing on...
Re: Indian Barbecue
Cannibalism is a natural part of our species, lots of species eat their own kind living or dead. Its the natural world. Recycle.
