Well those evil cows have attacked another woman on the Isle of Man! Not the exact same cows, some other nasty bleeduz.

They should fucking do something about this, you shouldn't be attacked by cows on public footpaths, it's just not on.

It looks like they're scared of dogs.

It does make one wonder ... both women were walking dogs. Didthe dogs startle the cattle? And if they did, why would the cows run towards the dogs rather then away from the dogs?

Not scared enough by the looks of it.

He's a fucking nuisance. They were knocking the fuck out of him too, head butting him and stuff. He fucking loved it.

Scary. Cows are usually such placid creatures. Like what has been said though, if they are protecting their young, even the most timid animals can become aggressive.
I am not suggesting this lady did, But, I live overlooking fields, full of Horses. Now and again, an idiot will stand and watch, whilst their dogs are terrorising the animals. Of course, if the Horses stampeded towards them, they would die of fright.

I don't regard this story as either strange or bizarre. Its very common and is caused by people taking dogs into fields of cattle, especially those with calves.
Cows are both territorial and maternal, they will protect their territory and fight fiercely for their babies. They see dogs as a threat, and will drive them out of their field. Unfortunately as cows are big and powerful animals, if the dog's owner gets in the way, they are likely to be seriously injured or worse.
