The Westside Rapist

The Westside Rapist raped over 30 women over two waves of attacks in the 1970s and 80s. He killed 17 women after raping them, over 20 others are said to have been raped but survived being choked by the killer.

Police in LA have reported that they have arrested 72 year old John Floyd Thomas Jr. in connection with the murders after new DNA techniques were used to reopen the cold case.

Thomas Jr. will be Los Angeles' most prolific serial killer if convicted.

At 72 it is hardly worth the hangman's time I would have thought. Interesting what new developments in forensic science will bring up.

just another example of science and dna at its best working , and i think he does deserve to fry his age is imeterial !!

They might as well execute him, what use is putting an old duffer in prison.

I am against the death penalty on principle. I personally hold that it has more to do with revenge then justice.

That guy is a bastard. Maybe he will get eaten by a Velociraptor one of these days...of the raptor might shoot him for kicks, probably wouldn't be good eating. LOL.
