Three years on from her operation she tells reporters that she's still struggling to come to terms with her new face.

Re: Isabelle Dinoire ~ Face Transplant
What the hell happened to her face?![]()

Re: Isabelle Dinoire ~ Face Transplant
Is that first picture her face half way through skin grafts n' stuff, or how the dog left her looking?
Re: Isabelle Dinoire ~ Face Transplant
I think the first picture is how they fixed her up first.
Apparently she took a load of sleeping pills, rumoured to be a suicide attempt but denied by her family, anyway she fell unconscious and was out cold. When she woke up she found herself in a pool of blood, she tried to light a cigarette and that's when she noticed her lips were missing.
The dog had "mauled" her whilst she was unconscious. But the dog had no history of biting or violence, it seems likely that the dog was worried about it's owner and was actually frantically trying to wake her.
It got put down for it's troubles.

Re: Isabelle Dinoire ~ Face Transplant
She should admit to what she did. The poor dog.

Aww that's really sad if that's what really happened.![]()

Re: Isabelle Dinoire ~ Face Transplant
Has it really been 3 years after the operation?

Re: Isabelle Dinoire ~ Face Transplant
Yeah, I think I only heard the story a year or so ago though. No way I read about her three years ago.
Re: Isabelle Dinoire ~ Face Transplant
How could a dog bite off a human flesh like that. This is awful.
Thank God through modern technology she can reinvent herself. However the story is totally unconvincing.
