Cool Barn Owl

A rare barn owl has been born with jet black feathers, it's the opposite of an albino.

Apparently it wouldn't survive in the wild, but it looks awesome. You'd have thought black feathers would be better for a nocturnal animal like an owl.

Nature is a funny thing.we see sub species which we believe as being inferior as a food source.
The strange thing about this is that other birds will view this owl as an alien and kill it simply because they've never seen such a thing before.

It may change feather colours when it becomes a adult.
Pigeons and doves were nested in one of my old mans barns years ago and crapping on produce pretty bad.
People went into the barn banging and clapping to drive them out to waiting guns.
This blinking great big barn owl flew out and its wing hit me on the neck and chin sending me flying, the biggest we had ever seen.
The old man had some owl boxes put up afterwards and owls nested and settled into them pretty quick.
He allowed twitchuz to come a watch them.
