Human remains found on Saddleworth Moor
Allegedly Ian Brady recently agreed to revisit the moors to help find the body of Keith Bennett.
Now it's been announced that human remains have been found.
Police have been searching for the body of victim Keith Bennett, who was tortured and killed more than 40 years ago by Ian Brady.
Keith Bennett's mother Winnie Johnson has been searching for her son ever since Brady confessed to killing him. Her solicitor David Kirwan has been having meetings with Brady at Ashworth high security hospital where Brady is held. Despite being on a hunger strike since 1999 and being force-fed through his nose, Brady seemed healthy, the solicitor said.
He added: 'Brady would sit at 90 degrees to me, smoking a thin, cheroot-type cigar, feeding tube up his nose.
'During our meetings he could be rational, and at other times angry and irritated.'

Re: Human remains found on Saddleworth Moor
I hope for Winnie's sake it is Keith's remains, she's had a pretty bad time of it these past 40 odd years.

Re: Human remains found on Saddleworth Moor
The news are now reporting that it is not Keith Bennett and someone has even suggested that it is in fact the remains of a deer.

I wish they'd get these things right and not announce that the remains are human before they actually have it confirmed.
