Some people think it should be a woman. I am not one of them. I don't know why, I just don't think it would work, although I did used to think that Beryl Reid would have been good in the part.

Funny you should say that, but there was also talk of bringing Romana back.
I take it by your Avatar that we can start some nerdy Dr Who talk, so if you remember she was stranded in E-space. So she may be making a return.
Again, just wild speculation. But who would you get to play a Time Lady???

Sure is. So there is quite a good scope for having some female time lords (time ladies?). I'll have to have a think about who I would like to see in these parts though. NOT Catherine Tate.
