It's funny how things come full circle isn't it? A few years ago Angus Deayton was deemed "not acceptable" because of stuff he had done in his life, but now he is OK because others are in the same position. I suppose he has "done his time".

I like Angus Deaton, I though Merton and Hislop came off looking like complete flowers when they slagged him off after he was fired from HIGNFY.

To be fair, he set himself up for ridicule and the entire concept of the show is to rip the piss out of what's going on in the media.

It was how they reacted afterwards that I thought was shitty, in interviews they did later they really slagged Angus off calling him allsorts of nasty shit saying he nearly ruined the show. They're full of shit, the show was never in jeopardy, they're just a pair of nasty little hairbears.
