This is like the singing version - all the old pals clubs stuff when divvying out the votes. Sweden gave 8 to Denmark and 12 to Finland, as I predicted.

It's weird, because most Swedes I have ever known couldn't stand the Finns, and vice-versa.

The back stabbing (of each other) squabbling of those two "old" dancers (Waldof and Stadtler was it?) as a backdrop spoiled it for me. Len complained there wasn't enough pasa doble or something - can anyone but dancers tell? Some of the dancers were in different countries from their partners - they were so far away from each other.

Yeah - it was an irritant - they seemed that they had to disagree and it spoilt it. As did the disrobing of at least 3 of the lady dancers. I am all for naked flesh but Bucks Fizz anyone I thought. And a marriage proposal would be accepted if THEY won - one couple reported. No pressure then!

I yelled at some of the fellahs to take something off as a sop to my missus sitting there enjoying it. And what was Ms Winkleman wearing? And Graham hamming it up.

But apart from those small niggles ...........it was awful! Cha cha cha!
