Veronica Mars meets Heroes

I was really upset when VM was axed at the end of season with a story just hanging in the air. Although today I read something which I am going to find very interesting - please stop reading here if you do not want to know who is about to join the cast of Heroes in Season 2...



If you have carried on reading then it is safe to assume that you don't mind knowing that Kristen Bell (VM herself) is scheduled to join the cast of Heroes. I read this in the Chicago Tribune & have copied part of it below to sanitise it of {spoilers} in case you haven't yet seen to the end of Season 1. I really don't think I could handle her playing a 'dumb blonde' though but hopefully they haven't type-cast her into another PI role!

Kristen Bell, star of the late, lamented Veronica Mars, is joining the cast of Heroes for a multi-episode arc.


Bell will play Elle, “a sexy, intriguing, mysterious young lady who has ties to {existing character events}. When fans first meet Elle in October, she will commit a terrible crime, but as always with ‘Heroes,’ it will be unclear whose side she is really on,” according to NBC’s Monday press release.


“This was not easy to pull off,” “Heroes” creator Tim Kring said in the statement. “But since we're an ensemble show, with many arcs playing out through the year, we found a way to jump into a small window in her schedule. I pitched her the idea we have for the character, which she loved, and we're off and running.”


As has been previously reported, “Heroes” will also feature several other new characters this season, including David Anders as a legendary warrior, a Hispanic character named Maya (Dania Ramirez), as well as Monica (Dana Davis), “who comes from the flood-ravaged area of New Orleans,” “Heroes” writer Jeph Loeb told Comic-Con fans in July.

I've seen repeats of Veronica Mars on early morning LivingTV. I think the character of Veronica goes to school or is either a teacher or a journalist.

Veronica Mars attends school in the early series then as she gets older she goes to college She is a private investigator who isn't afraid to look into stuff she shouldn't be!

Yes he was in an episode in S2 I think it was as a convenience store clerk.

Just Googled & found a couple of clips of him in action
