Yes, it's a good series, and there were loose ends left at the end of the previous series, so a second series was expected I think.

The second series ended with Tom sneaking on the plane and flying to the unseen haven while the others are stuck in virus hit UK. At least Abby was re-united with Peter.

Much different from the book, which had a very explosive ending.
