Here we go. Spooks series 8 starts Wednesday 4th November at 9pm on BBC One.
Peter Firth - Harry Pearce
The team leader has been snatched by a Russian agent and hisd colleagues battle to locate him.
Richard Armitage - Lucas North
The gung-ho officer begins a dangerous relationship with a CIA operative, and it causes ructions.
Hermione Norris - Ros Myers
The cool spy is adamant Harry is alive, and is willing to bend the rules in the search for him.
Hugh Simon - Malcolm Wynn-Jones
The loyal operative goes out on a limb to save lives and comes to a major decision.
Miranda Raison - Jo Portman
The dedicated spy remains intent on performing her duties, but danger may be just around the corner.
Also Ruth Evershed returns. In series five she was framed for murder and had to disappear. She coms back to search for Harry.

It's got a great balance, which is why it's so good (IMO) ...
Good characters, and character progression.
Good acting.
Inter-action with MI5+MI6.
Great storylines that are also relevant to current affairs.
'Realism' - like it's 'fly-on-the-wall' rather than a movie.
etc ...

I mean they came up with the cool catchphrase when they first started.

Oh, and watch is currently showing Series 7. It was on at 9pm, but since Series 8 is on at 9 on BBC One they've moved Spooks on Watch to 10pm.

Ah, I see your point!
Btw, do you know if Spooks has been exported? I'm thinking that maybe the yanks might watch it, or maybe the Oz or Kiwis ...
