Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Serenity star Summer Glau is being lined up to join the Dollhouse cast.

Summer has already appeared in the Joss Whedon show Firefly and it's movie adaptation Serenity, where she played a mind altered fighting machine. Her role as Cameron in SCC was also pretty much in the same vein, she would be perfect as one of the actives in Dollhouse, but Whedon seems to think that is too easy or obvious.

It's been confirmed, Summer will play someone working inside the Dollhouse, not a "Doll".

I would think, honestly that season 2 of Dollhouse might get a LOT more push, and a LOT more viewers. The promos are just stunning, and the pics make it all look good.

For those Whedon fans out there, this is looking to be a "reunion" season I guess. Alexis Denisof (Wesley Windham-Price) is joining as well.

I've got a few of the images and details for the new season here, a few too many to upload here, but they're all rather nice and shiny.

Cancelled? Who knows, it's Fox. If it IS cancelled though, this could easily be picked up by Syfy

I thought he was pretty damn good in that, once his character developed a bit.
