
Red Riding
The Red Riding trilogy is based on David Peace's best selling novels. The first drama is set in 1974 West Yorkshire, then 1980 and then 1983.
Tonights episode focus' on a series of child murders.

1974:
A series of child murders takes a chilling turn.
1980:
The Yorkshire Ripper has been loose for five years and has been killing women. It's upto Manc Police officer Peter Hunter to keep a watchful eye on the Yorkshire Police officers.
1983:
The man convicted of killing the children in 1974 turns out to be innocent. Solicitor John Piggott wants to know what really happened.
Red Riding is on Channel 4, Thursday's at 9pm.

I nearly did'nt watch it, I usualy stay clear of ''gritty TV draaaama'' but I'm glad I did. Brilliant stuff!

Ok....The last one was last night, I need help.
Did that young journalist lad shoot Sean Bean before or after they found the little girl in the pigion lot? Sooo many flash backs, so many chararctors. it got confusing. And that copper who ''turned soft'', did'nt he get killed off in the first episode? That was 1970 something but it ended in 1980 something so that cant be to do with flash backs. Was it even surposed to make sense, or was it just a series of events that were'nt related at all? I expected it all to come together at the end and it did'nt!Or did it and I'm just thick???
