    Default O2 network failure

The country's second largest mobile phone service provider had some sort of a crash last night leaving possibly thousands unable to make calls, send texts or get online.

They still don't even know what is causing the outage and suggest people watch teir Twitter and Facebook feeds for any news.

Yeah, mine's been down since yesterday afternoon and no sign of it coming back up. Strangely though, I can still get data, just no voice calls or texts. And the OH is on the same network but her phone is fine.

I f you're OK now you should stay OK. It's just part of their network and it obviously only affects certain phones, os hopefully that means it won't affect the others after all this time.

I'm able to connect and my signal's showing a flat line.

I'm also very disappointed because all my work phone and email connection is still working.

My new fone is O2 ...

Yesterday, my ma couldn't text me from out so she rang the landline to tell me to put the kettle on and that my number has not been recognized, as if it did not exist. I rang it from my old mobile (Orange) and just got a noise. When she was home, I rang my mums mobile from my own and it was fine.
