More Apple Problems

Why is it that if Apple stuff is supposed to "just work" every single app I download from the App store for my iPad refuses to download the first few times? I always have to wait at least half an hour or even the next day before it will work. With that and also the problem of it completely refusing to connect to a surprisingly large number of websites with the rather unhelpful message of "could not connect to website as server cannot be found", despite the fact that every other device can connect to no problem, and the lack of Flash support, I'm beginning to think that one of the new Windows 8 tablets might be an idea when they come out, apart from the fact that I have invested a lot in apps on the iPad.

Too late for that. Don't get me wrong, I love the iPad, but some of these problems are so annoying and perplexing.

That's why i sent my iphone back. Lots of glitches for a product that is supposed to just work

I can honestly say I've not had any of those problems with my iPad, so wouldn't even know what to suggest. Drop it into an Apple store? Normally they just replace it for nothing.

It's not a fault with the device though, these things happen on other Apple devices too. And Jools has reported similar things with his iPhone. It's the software which for some reaspn can't hande certain websites and the apps not downloading is a an inexplicable thing that I have only ever seen on Apple devices, so I don't think changing it would help much, plus I doubt they would replace it anyway to be honest. I'm just annoyed that atuff that is supposed to just work, doesn't. It's very frustrating and a little disappointing.

I can imagine it is frustrating, especially given the price tag they put on their products.

Yeah, it's frustrating as the iPad is still the best tablet there is.
