    BBC Breathalysers in cars

An egg-headed boffin is suggesting that all cars should be fitted with alcohol detectors that prevent the car from being started if you're drunk or pissed.

Alcohol sensors should be in every car to cut drink-related road deaths and injuries, says the government's former chief drugs adviser.

David Nutt says motorists would have to breathe into the devices before starting their car, to test they were not over the limit.

Trouble is, the mind is Loki's and the body is Buddah's!

Windows works a treat when people know what they're doing with it. The problem with Windows is the users.

the yanks brought out a law (Texas I think) where you could escape being incarcerated if you had a gizmo fitted that you breathed in before you could start your vehicle! it did not last long cos folk fiddled it!

Windows does have some inherently bad architecture that makes it more prone to errors and bottlenecks though, the registry being just one example. Every time I use Windows it reminds me of just how inefficient it is with system resources.
