BBC News - ZX Spectrum's chief designers reunited 30 years on

I had a ZX81 then we got the spectrum + which had a posher keyboard

I read today they are still making games for the spectrum

I cut my teeth on the speccy all those years ago, which is how I got my interest in computing and programming. I had four in all: the original one, the Spectrum+, which had the QL style keys, then a +2, which had a built-in cassette player, and a +3, which had a built-in 3 inch disk drive. High tech for the times. I also had the little printer and the micro-drives, but they were flaky as the tape would break after a very short period of time.

Overall I think the +2 was the nicest one.

This takes me back. I especially remember the orange covered manual, which was well used.
