    Mammoths are from the Pleistocene period BTW, about 150,000 years ago to about 10,000 years ago, so very recent compared to the Jurassic (over 100m years ago).

    Trying to understand this one. So an African Elephant will be the host to this extinct mammoth after a 600-day gestation period. When they only had a 30% success rate? Makes you wonder what about the other 70%? Did they ever give thought to the food chain for this new pre-historic?
