Is there a reason for this?

At least he got to play a sex mad lawyer in Boston Legal. Or has this been canceled? is that why he's so pissy?

Re: William Shatner launches verbal attack on former co-star
I find it interesting that Shatner uses the term "pity".
Whenever people are powerless to change something they are just dying to change, in someone else, they say they "pity" that person and their suffering or the choices they have made.
While I don't see this as Shatner "lashing out" I do see this as his way of saving face.
Pity is the tool of the powerless. It is the last resort for those who can no longer exert power over the lives of others.

Yes, it's a good point. I don't pity anyone, I thought I was just a heartless rascal though.
