No, you're right Jools. He ain't dead at all, but it was a close call.

Here's what happened cos i was watching RAW live and the last hour was hellishly scary.

During the Bryan/Kane v Titus/D-Young match commentary seemed to disappear halfway through the match and then the fans in front row were suddenly looking at something towards the commentary table and at times the camera changes position and you can see that Lawler isn't there anymore. He's quickly taken away by medics and security to a stretcher, all the while Michael Cole is still commentating as calmly as he can. But when he gave that first update on Lawler to the viewers at home he looked totally shaken. Can't imagine what it was like for those backstage and for the Superstars who still had to go out to the ring and perform.

There's been alot of updates since Monday, Lawler was apparently dead for 10 to 15 minutes, was shocked 7 times to get his heart started again, was that taken to a hospital in Montreal (cos that's where RAW was), his condition soon stablised and he had a stent to remove a blockage and a CAT scan showed he has no brain damage. So far so good.

Oh yeah, and 30 minutes before this happens he was actually in a tag match with Randy Orton against CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler.

Seen another update just now. He's awake but can't talk because of all the tubes, but he's writing detailed notes, saying he knows what happened and where he is.
