G4S & the Olympics security issues

Nick Buckles, boss of G4S is currently being grilled by Keith Vaz and some other politicians (MPs on the Home Affairs Select Committee) re: the big G4S cock-up with getting enough folks to do the security for the Games. It's live on Radio 5 Live at the min.

When the games are all done and dusted and everything passed by without incident no one will be congratulated for it. The Daily Mail will still be picking holes in it, pointing out the state of the toilets or something.

That will be interesting for my mum. She's so very (almost sickeningly) 'pro-Olympics & everything about it is great' but she also gets the Mail on Sunday.

I wish the press could just get into the spirit of it and stop picking holes in everything. It's pretty certain most other hosts have had similar problems.
