There is a bit of hoo-hah about the BBC Sports Personality shortlist being all-male this year.

I'm listening to Fighting Talk on 5live at the moment, which is (today) all blokes.

Footy crowds tend to be much higher for mens matches.

Etc ...

Does womens sport get enough support ?

Or should women be at home; cooking, cleaning and making babies etc ... ?

No, they are perfectly entitled to be in sports as well. But televised sport is about the preferences of the viewers and I certainly prefer to watch men in most, if not all, major sports, certainly in the ball sports like football and rugby.

There are not many sports where men and women compete at the same level
