It's the start of the Winter Olympics on Friday and the opening ceremony starts at 1:45am on BBC 2, BBC Interactive and BBC HD.

I'll be watching some of this. I like the ski-jumping, ice hockey and curling in particular.

They showed the Beijing Olympics, so they'll show the Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Hopefully they have put some fencing up where that guy died. A bit of something there in front of the post would have saved his life.....
