World Pie Eating Championships 2009

Today saw the annual World Pie Eating Championships held in Wigan.

This year the championships have been dogged by scandal. Firstly random drug testing has been brought in as some of the athletes were cheating, and on top of that the regulation pie was changed at the last minute to a pie from outside Wigan baked by some southern softy!
