    Default World Burrito Eating Championship

Bob Shoudt won the World Burrito Eating Championship in New Mexico yesterday by eating 33.5 burritos in ten minutes.

    Fucking awesome!

I was reading an article on competitive eating earlier, it's fucking dangerous stuff.

They said that one competitor regularly stretches his stomach so much during training that he suffers internal bleeding. Another bloke now feels permanently hungry no matter how much he eats.

Fuck me, he's won another one today!

All I can say is, he must have had one hell of a big shit last night.

Just one day after chomping to victory at the World Burrito Eating Championship in New Mexico “Humble Bob” Shoudt has swallowed first place at the Harrah’s Louisiana Downs Grits Eating Championship in Albuquerque.

Yep. People have died from it before. I don't really like the idea of it, TBH, but each to their own.

Yes, but like most athletes they accept a certain amount of risk.

I think someone died when they choked to death, seems odd that at a speed eating competition there was no one who would Heimlich the victim.

I would imagine that statistically it can't be more dangerous than most other sports.

Maybe not. It's just something that makes me feel uncomfortable. I know what it feels like to have overeaten and I don't like the feel of it. But then, I'm not into doing sports either.
