Parts of this forum you still dont understand.

I'm getting used to it now. I hit quick links and it shows who is online and what they are viewing.
Fenella explained to me how to send a pm reply but i'm still making mistakes,I dont understand how you get the extra smilies,they're silly things really and it does seem to be working perfectly now so I do realise it's me not understanding it.
I just wish it was explained in a way that complete idiots like me could get the hang of it quicker.
I'm not criticising it in any way but there must be other people on here that dont understand the bits they cant ger their head around.
I have learned bits by trial and error but some parts just dont sink in .
Any other members the same and if so which bits cant you grasp?

I think the only thing I struggled with was getting an avatar (thank you Alpha and Mr M*) but I'm a bit green with computers. Although I have managed to find all the stuff you mentioned fairly easily.

Now someone's going to mention something I never even knew was there, I bet

The bit that really confused me at first was the swear filter. It defaults to being on for me so I had no idea why people were talking about freckles!

Very good point Fenella.

I came along just before that was put in place or I would have been confused.

The first night that came into play we were all very bemused.

But then the other day I had the swear filter off and Mr M posted that thread about hairbears. Well that's not what it said to me so that confused me too!
