    Default New years eve plans!

What's your plans for this evening?

We're in walking distance of restaurants and stuff, so we're going out for an Italian meal. Hopefully not pizza, but you never know.

New year's eve is not that kid friendly, so a lot of the better places are only allowing over 16's. We wouldn't take the kids anywhere that drunk people might crowd anyway, so after the meal we'll probably walk home and head out to Spinola Bay just before midnight to toast the new year in.

It's alfresco dining tonight, so I'm hoping it doesn't rain or that will change things.

We had a Chinese fake-away, chosen by the lad. I'm not so arsed at all about NYE, never have been, so it's pretty much a normal weekend type night for me. I'm happy to go to bed and not set the alarm, that's the big treat for me. I'm looking forward to snuggling with Spud, watching a bit of telly and having a slurp of Amaretto.

Have a nice night and see yous next year xx

I was working today and couldn't be arsed driving back to Gloucester as I've still got nowhere to sit in the living room, sofa delivered on Saturday thankfully.

So I'm sat here in Wales watching shit telly.

We'll watch "Still Game" and "Only An Excuse" as usual, then decide on which crappy new year's show to watch, see in the new year, have some nibbles and a drink, then go to bed. This will be a special new year for us. Looking forward to big things this year, or at least making major steps towards them.

My daughter was sick, so we had to come home. We're just going to pop out in a minute to see if we can see any fireworks.

It's brilliant, every time I've been to Afghanistan I've watched the whole thing from start to finish.
