Mine too. It just feels wrong having them on inside.

I hate having anything on my feet, so unless I have to, I go barefoot. When I go to my friends or mum's I always take off my shoes once inside the door. I don't mind what people do when they come over. I knew of only 2 people that insisted you removed your shoes at the door, I was happy to oblige.

You're the same as me. As soon as I don't need footwear I take them off.

When I'm anywhere warm I hate wearing shoes, but I've not had chance to toughen up the soles of my feet

You see people walking everywhere barefoot, over gravel and pebbled beaches, and I hobble about on anything but the smoothest surfaces

I don't think I could walk on gravel. Paving stone bare foot is about my limit.

When we went to Disney the pool had a sand bottom, but it wasn't proper sand it was heavy pebbly stuff that looked like sand but would stay sunken. I couldn't walk on it and ended up cutting my foot so we hardly used the pool. Some people must have very hard feet to cope with rough surfaces.

I use to be able to walk on gravel or anything really, loved walking on the nice cool grass. However now I have neuropathy so it hurt's to walk on anything, which sucks for someone who loves going barefoot.
