I've no idea, but I clicked the reserve button a while ago. I'm sure someone like Timey will have more of a clue about it than me.

I don't know myself yet as I haven't downloaded it, and it might not be available for me yet either. The best thing is to keep your eye out for reviews on the Internet. I've heard that there may be a lot if bugs, as there often are with new releases like this, plus the fact that Windows runs on so many different types of computer, so some will work OK and others will have components that don't work well with it. These issues usually get resolved in a major update, usually several months later.

I don't have a Windows computer any more myself, but I do run Windows 8.1 on a virtual machine on my MacBook, and I have the upgrade reserved on there, and I will install it as soon as it is available and I have the time to devote to doing the upgrade. I will let you know how I get on with it but I'm not sure when I will be able to get back with any meaningful feedback.

    I have reserved it...

Not gonna download it until a few bugs are ironed out! We've got a year to upgrade before you have to fork out. It all depends on how long you're willing to wait.

I'll be downloading it in the next week or so. It's not my main OS, it's just there for fun and to keep abreast of developments, so I'm not bothered if there are a few bugs to begin with.
