    Default Hollande wins French election

    Is this good or bad?
    will the wealthy leave?
will the Euro be distant history?
Or will we be paying more to keep France in the Euro as Hollande demands funds to kick start the French Economy?
    Honestly I give up!

I've just been reading the Mail Online and this tickled me...

He has also pledged to slap a 75 per cent tax on those earning more than one million euros a year, or around £850,000.

The move is expected to lead to an exodus of 'le super rich' - with many of them likely to head to London where the top rate of tax will be 45p.

I'm assuming it's a typo and the top rate of tax in England isn't really just 45p?

Is nearly half of your pay not enough?

It reads as you only pay 45p, total, in tax.

    Oh I see.

Yeah, I read it as short for 45p in the pound.
