    Thumbs up Greetings From Dublin

Willy, Billy & I landed in Dublin this morning (at 8am ish), we managed to get our selfs from the airport rto the hotel via a air coach (which was free with our Dublin Pass), a tram and a bit of a walk (which was not easy with our big case).

The hotel is quite posh but dont think much to our room. The veiw is rubbish and there is not much to it but I guess all you need in a room is a bed and it has 2 of them (not that we asked for two lol) we asked for a cot and the travel agent requested a double / twin with extra bed, we had to ask for the cot but got one

We've used our Dublin pass to get in free at a few attrations, been to the wax museum, a viking center and a cathedral. We seem to go round in circles a few times but thing we've got an idea of the place now.

Sounds good. Yes, don't spend too much time in your room, get out and enjoy the place!

You've got to go to the Guinness factory. That's fun.

Yesterday I was looking after my 'big' grandson but I only had a couple of hours so instead of going home we stayed closer to his home. He lives in Droylsden, M/C so we went to the Moravian Settlement in Droylsden, near the canal.
It is an idyllic little 'village' of just a few streets called such things as Brethren St and Sisters St. The streets are all cobble stoned and there are trees right in the middle of the streets.
There is, of course, a church which was the reason for the settlement. The Moravian Church was founded in the 14th century and was one of the first protestant churches.
The first picture is the church. I once attended a wedding here. It is lovely inside, all wood panelling and carved wooden pews as many old churches are.
The settlement is situated behind the usual houses on the main road and nestles like an oasis, quietly unchanged in a small square.

Actually we did that yesterday afternoon and we both got our free pint of Guinness.

I didn't think I liked Guinness but I quite enjoyed it but when we got back to our hotel we both had another Guinness and that one didn't quite taste as nice.
