    Default Drunken Tarts On Rampage.

    Drunken Tarts On Rampage.

Where is the self respect and dignity nowadays which females were highly associated with in bygone years?

Late night TV often shows scummy tarts out of control on booze and fighting like savages.
    They are disgusting.

Drunken girls on rampage in UK
Too much... violence blamed on booze

VIOLENT attacks by boozed-up teenage girls are soaring — with 63 offences committed every day, official figures revealed last night.

The number of crimes by females under 18 has more than TRIPLED in the past seven years.

For the first time, assault is now the most common reason for girls being arrested. And yobbish behaviour by teenage boys is FALLING.

The astonishing change in teenage louts is revealed in figures obtained by the Youth Justice Board.

They show violent offences by girls aged ten to 17, including stabbings and even murder, rose from just 6,000 in 2001 to almost 23,000 last year.

Booze is the main cause, with a third of 15 and 16-year-old girls admitting to binge-drinking.

Last year, more than 58,500 girls under 18 were taken to court, up ten per cent over two years.

The same trend has seen men shy away from woman. Not many young lads these days will take a girl out to dinner, open doors for her etc. Because they are all too scared of this generation of the female species.

Our attitude to alcohol is culturally determined. Myself, I am a non-drinker; not, I hasten to add, because I have an issue with drinking in the sense that I want to see wholesale prohibition but mainly because I don't like the taste, I prefer to make a fool of myself while in total control of my faculties and... if truth be told... I believe I have an addictive personality and so this is probably the safest way in the long run.

I have three daughters who are all social drinkers. When they were younger, much younger, I never had a problem with them trying alcohol when it was on offer during family parties and social events in safe surroundings. They grew up accepting alcohol as one of those things that sometimes is around. They grew up knowing how alcohol can effect them and either release their inhibitions and/or imbalance their sense of perspective.

All three of them at one stage went too far with alcohol and they all three did it only that one time. The eldest was about 15. I didn't berate her but I did cook a large greasy fry-up for breakfast that morning. The two youngers girls and I played hide and seek all over the house and though I normally took the radio with me from room to room as I hoovered, I 'forgot' it upstairs while I hoovered downstairs so I had it on rather loudly... That poor girl really suffered her hangover and without any harsh words or reproaches she curtailed her own drinking ever since.

Similar happened with my other two and with a number of foster children I have had. Not one has ever become a binge drinker.

I don't think that restrictions, prohibitions and disapprobation are the answer. Being more open, letting a child find out for itself its limits, the costs and the pitfalls; and all that from within the safety of an accepting, loving and secure environment. I reckon that will do a lot more towards instilling responsible drinking habits.

Mimsecal, I agree 100% with your last paragraph. IMO, the trouble now is, loads of families dont even EAT together, never mind supervising the amount they drink, so it's not really "practiced" in a home enviroment any more. They just go off, no role models or guidlines, With the sole intention of getting plastered. Give me the Continental way, any day.
