@timey you can exclude this forum, or any other from showing new posts or even appearing on the homepage.

Just go to your settings > general settings and scroll to the bottom. Select any forums you wish to exclude in the menu, tick the box underneath to exclude that selection from the homepage.

You will have to select it again, the plug-in was uninstalled a few months back and I just reinstalled it for you today.
