Somebody outside the house trying to get their attention? Lots of possibilities really. Since i didn't watch the show i don't know what exactly happened.

Just checked DS:BB. It appears there were people shouting over the wall.
BB fill the house with crowd noise so the housemates can't here anything else.

Smart arse. BB have a right to fill the house with recorded crowd noise. They do it all the time on Friday nights.
