She should've just used a 'plumping up' lipstick instead of going through the pain.

I used one without knowing so they do work. I kept going on about how 'full' and shapely my lips were looking recently, then I ran out of lipstick and they went back to normal. I checked the lipstick and it turned out to be a plumping up one.
