This will be the headlines in about five weeks time.

Swayze, best known for his starring role in 80s classic Red Dawn also featured in other shitty chick-flicks like Dirty Dancing and Ghost.

According to The National Enquirer Pat has been suffering from pancreatic cancer and has been undergoing treatment at Stanford University's prestigious cancer center in Palo Alto since his diagnosis in January.

After a series of doses of chemotherapy doctors have now given up hope of curing the poor bastard. He's as good as dead, you heard it here first.

I think this is a scam. no major networks have picked up on this yet making me think it is another patrick swayze death scam. i wonder what he ever did to have 2 fake death reports in a 6 month period.

The last story i read on this was from the National Enquirer. It seemed to be a bit bullshitty to be honest.

I'd rather take the doctors word on the seriousness (or not so serious) of it

His agent has confirmed that he has cancer, but they reckon he's responding well to treatment.

I detested Dirty Dancing and Ghost ( did anyone note Semi Moore making the first of two new breasts on that potters wheel? - bad job lass - bad job!) but Roadhouse and Next of Kin was fun - because he beat the crap out of Ted Levine - "Monk"'s friend and one of the bad guys in Silence of The Lambs.

Now that is a man we can ill afford to lose. Now Paddy, when you get your strength back - a swipe at "Monk" too please.
