Nicole Richie sent to jail
Pregnant Socialite Nicole Richie has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of drugs at a court in Glendale Caifornia, but has been sent to jail for at least 4 days. The judge on her case said that the troubled socialite was was lucky that nobody had been killed when she drove up the wrong way on the motorway.
Ms Richie, who is rumored to be pregnant with boyfriend Joel Madden’s baby has also been given three years probation but has credit for time already served. Richie’s reality TV co-star Paris Hilton has already served time in jail for 23 days for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving offense.
