May well have been her best known role but I will always remember her in 'The Burning Bed' ... It was the first time I realised that not only was she gorgeous but she could act!

So sad. She has really suffered over the past few years. I am glad she is at peace now.

(Just) before my time, so I can't really form an opinion to make much of a comment.
So I won't.

Re: Farrah Fawcett has died!
I was never that much of a fan of Farrah's. She was beautiful and popular and then when I saw her in "Burning Bed" and saw that she could act, I had a lot more respect for her.
But after all, there's only so much that a plain Jane like me could actually like a fantastically gorgeous woman like Farrah.
But when I saw her on Letterman, all drunk and out of it, I kind of liked her more, though I got the idea that something was going on with her to act like that with ol Dave. He isn't one to let that kind of act go without a lot of replay on the show.
But when I heard that she had colorectal cancer I really became sensitive to her. A close relative has colon cancer and was diagnosed just when Farrah was. So all the news clips about her battle with the cancer and now her passing, just makes me sadder.
I like the idea that Michael Jackson and Farrah are going around together in the afterlife. He always did like a pretty lady on his arm, and Farrah, with that fantastic smile, might be able to show him how to laugh more.
