Le Chant is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: Genesis To Reform and Tour

Steve Hackett's still writing/recording/performing. His latest studio rock album was out last September 'Wild Orchids', and he had a classical follow-up album to 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' last year too, called 'Metamorpheous'.

He had this to say about the new tour:

"First of all I would like to congratulate Tony, Mike and Phil for flying the flag once again. Good luck to them and I really hope they have a very successful tour.

I was originally approached to discuss the possibility of a five piece which would have included Peter Gabriel and yours truly but since Peter’s schedule precludes this it makes sense for the other three to celebrate the brand in their ‘own special way’ as it were ...."

Steve Hackett - Nov '06.

That's why I believe that a reunion of the classic line-up will be on the cards in a few year's time. I'll be there!

For anyone that doesn't have the good fortune to catch Genesis on the road I can highly recommend The Musical Box.

As near to the real thing as possible.

TVDinner is on a distinguished road
Default Re: Genesis To Reform and Tour

I saw them in the 80's and think this is great! Love Peter Gabriel, but will be fine with Phil back at the helm and leading the group. Great group and i hope their sound is still the same!
