Buzz is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Buzzcocks - Flat - Pack Philosophy

buzzcocksI heard a rumour via the grapevine and from a couple of reviews that the Buzzcocks had released an album to equal their 1978/79 heyday. If you're like me and thought that this cannot possibly be true, how wrong you are! This album's quality never wavers and Shelley and Diggle show the enthusiasm of a couple of 18 years olds, they're in their fifties!!! They appear to be ranting against modern mass consumerism. What strikes you first is the sheer quality of the song writing and harmonies, live with this album for a week and the songs are imprinted on your brain and you simply cannot get them out. The guitars are thicker and Diggle now contributes with about four tracks of his own. Without going into individual songs at least 12 of the 14 tracks could be singles. 'Wish I never loved you' is the equal of 'I Don't Mind'. They've even managed to add a bit of studio trickery just like they did on the first album. Just buy, download or do whatever you have to to get this! What a bonus in 2006.
