Looks just like Flight of the Navigator to me.

Re: UFO spotted above Cornwall

Probably is I supposed. *disappointed*
Though you never know...
The best place to hide something really crazy like aliens..is in plain view.
I'll give you an idea. How do you think you would react if during broad daylight you met an alien-whether 3 eyed, two head, or lizard like or whatever..(assuming no immediate violence on its part)
Do you think you would
A)Scream and panic, crying for Mommy?
B)Look for the zipper whilst complimenting the guys "suit"
C)Make a pass and try to work out if they're sexually compatible?
I'm betting the reality of 50-60 years of sci-fi, films, movies, books etc would make B most likely...and closely followed by C
Though the results would change slightly if you are alone, drunk and in a dark alley...in which case in some parts of the UK it would be 100% C :-).

I personally recommend Tom and Kim's Influence/Persuasion training. The best in the world, yet not the biggest.
Incredible, practical, streetwise influence training

Re: UFO spotted above Cornwall
I reckon if you met a real life alien you would know it. In the sci-fi movies they always make the aliens humanoid or they move in a humanoid fashion. More then likely they would be unlike aything you had ever seen before, would move in a very odd way and would not speak English. I imagine I would be very scared.
