Sonar scans looking for a century-old wreck of a Swedish merchant ship have revealed a grainy outline of a saucer shape against the dirt in the Gulf of Bothnia — hinting of a crashed UFO on the ocean floor.

Yea, the author has taken one event thats already happened
(meteor hitting gulf of Mexico 65 million years ago, wiping out dinosaurs)
and an event that some would have us believe is going to happen next year
and connected the two putting them into a good sci fi story
